Disconnected XBL360 while playing a backwards compatible game (BO2) XBLone works perfeclty

So since BO2 became backwards compatible I have been trying to play zombies and multiplayer online and so far I was only able to play one zombie map on xbox live with other. For some reason I cannot find any lobby anymore not for zombies nor multiplayer
and after trying to find any lobby I get disconnected from xbox live while my xbox one live still works.

I have downloaded my gamertag again on the xbox 360 platform, but still nothing changed, and it sucks!

I really want to play b02 online mp again, please help me.

Xbox One keeps disconnecting from Xbox Live while only playing Backwards Compatible Games

As it says in the title i keep getting disconnected from Xbox Live only
while playing backwards compatible games. Xbox one Itself works fine while playing any game. Note when i get disconnected it only happens on the on the Backwards compatible dashboard and not the Xbox one's. Iv'e tried to fix this many times even trying
a wired connection as well as talking to Xbox's Support... Nothing has been resolved...

I just got black ops 2 as I heard that it's backwards compatible for Xbox one and the error code came up saying it's not backwards compatible while I'm in a party with someone playing bo2!

I'm sorry to hear about the issue. Do you get a particular error message or code when you get kicked offline? Are you connected using a wireless connection or are you using a wired one? If you're using wireless, can you try connecting your console to your
network using an Ethernet cable to see if that helps provide a more stable connection?

Thanks for your answer, the thing is I don't get a message I just get diconnected on the xbox 360 area while the xbox one part stays online. Sometimes when I try to reconnect I get an error, but not always, and I can't recall that particular code. Most of
the time I just have to wait a minute and I can reconnect. But the weird part in this situation stays the same, my NAT type varies from moderate to open, but I can never find any online multiplayer lobby for BO2. The weird thing is that I DO find a multiplayer
lobby for zombies on BO2. My xbox one is connected by ethernet cable.

I even reinstalled the game but no change.

 

Gotcha! Next time it happens and you run into the error code, toss it our way so we can take a look at it and see what's going on. If you're unable to find a game in Black Ops 2, that would sort of point towards there being an incompatible NAT possibly.
Take a peek at our
NAT error solution guide and make sure that you have an open NAT. Do you have any other consoles connected to your network as well?
