Disconnected then kicked back to the home screen

Since I've had my Xbox One I've had an issue with some games where it will disconnect me from the games servers and then kick me back to the home screen immediately. It only seems to happen with a few select games. I've tried clearing the persistent memory
and deleting my profile and re-adding it but nothing seems to work.

I am expericing a problem that is every game I play ( battlefield 4, dead rising 3, Forza 5 and killer instinct) I am in the middille of a game or on the menus and I get kicked back to the home screen with no warning.

I am hoping its not a hardware/software problem.

I think it might be an odd bug. As mine has done this a few times also. Even when launching a game it did it once. As long as its not happening every five minutes and is just once in a while its not two bad. Keep an eye on it and if it is doing it all the
time, then maybe think about calling support.

 

How long have you had it ? and what games ? And what kind of modem and router are you using ? (there have been some issues with certain routers here lately)

 

It happens with Just Cause 3, Black Ops 3 (which are both digital copies) and Destiny. I am using a Belkin router.

 

If it's a modem and a router , try putting it in "bridge mode " and plug the Xbox straight into it , if you have a separate modem , take the router out and plug the Xbox straight into the modem and see if you still have the problem...

 

Unfortunately that's not an option for me the router and modem are on the other side of the house so I cannot reach them with an ethernet cable.

 

Can you not move the Xbox in there for testing?
