    Disconnected from Xbox Live when I start a game download.


    Every time I try to download, Defiance my xbox disconnects from xbox live and I can't connect for a bit.

    Disconnected from XBox Live once game starts

    Hi

    I get disconnected from XBox Live once a game starts (any game COD, Tiger Woods, etc). I am connected to XBox Live when I first turn on the system. Once I get disconnected (from opening credits in all games, not during gameplay), I can no longer connect
    to XBox Live unless I re-start the console.

    What kind of modem or router are you using? And was your Xbox Live service always like this from the beginning? And when you start a download, is it only specifically for one game? If it is, which game is it?

    Can you test your Xbox Live connection and see if you have an issue? I'll provide the steps below:

    1. Press the Guide button on your controller.
    2. Select Settings, System Settings, and then
      Network Settings      .
    3. Select the name of your Wireless or Wired Network.
    4. Test your Xbox Live Connection.
    If you receive an error code from that test, there may be something tinkering with your connection. Report back here with your status! Disconnected from Xbox Live when I start a game download. :)

    Disconnected from Xbox Live every single time a game is started.

    Ok, I'm still getting logged out of Xbox Live whenever I start a game.

    I deleted all of the profiles that were stored on my console and downloaded mine.

    Unfortunately, when I start a game, it disconnects me from Live and I am not able to reconnect until I've exited the game.

    Any other suggestions? Any ideas on what's caused this?
