Disconnected from XBL when playing Halo Wars

Is there a way you can temporarily move the console closer to get a wired connection? This will really help us narrow down the issue.

 

Not really. The router is nowhere near a tv. But my One has always been wireless and the problem only started this month

 

Thanks, Matt! In order to further troubleshoot, we will need you to get the console wired into the modem. We want to rule out the router as having any issues connecting. We'd also like to improve that 96% wireless signal. That means your console isn't getting
the full signal it should be getting, and is likely causing the drops that you are seeing.

Once you are able to do that, post back with your results and the modem and router manufacturers and model numbers. From there, we will be able to troubleshoot further. Thanks for understanding!

Another option is that a neighbor has installed a wireless system on the same frequency and uses the same channel or using a router that has a very strong signal, you may want to try to manually change channels on your router and reboot your xb1 and see
if the signal changes or becomes solid.

 

It only disconnects me when I'm playing Wars, with everything else it's perfectly fine. It has to be Wars or the 360 emulator, it can't have anything to do with my internet if the one and only time it happens is whilst playing 1 specific 360 game. Every
other time I use my Xbox, like when playing Halo 5, my connection is perfect and I don't get dropped. It's only whilst playing Wars.

 

Did you guys happen to change your username recently ?

 

Nope. I have only changed my GT once, and it was months ago. Before BC was even announced.
