    Disconnected and can not reconnect to Live.


    It's almost 3:30am, was in a party chat with a friend & playing GTA V when I suddenly got disconnected. It will not let me sign back into live. Go to test connection, and it always fails at the last "Xbox Live" step, but gets past the "Internet" step. Reset
    both modem & router but that didn't change anything. Internet is also working fine on my PC so I know it has to do with the XBL servers, it says Xbox Live: Failed under Test Status. Matchmaking: Service Alert, everything else is up.

    When can I expect to be able to sign back in and resume what I was doing? I'm still able to message my friend via Xbox.com, who is still online playing.

    Disconnects while playing Halo 4

    I have been playing Halo 4 for three days now and every day I have experienced frequent, bizarre disconnects from Xbox Live. I can play for periods at a time, but I have been disconnected from War Games, Spartan Ops and the main menu.

    After I am disconnected from Live, I cannot reconnect from Halo 4. I must go to the dashboard, and I can immediately reconnect to Xbox Live. Then, I can play until I am randomly disconnected again. Rinse and repeat. No error code while in Halo 4, it just
    says that connection was lost and upon attempting to reconnect, it says that it cant connect to xbox live and asks me if I want to test my connection. If I test my connection, it has no trouble connecting to xbox live (as it must exit Halo 4 to test).

    I have tried power-cycling my modem, and I have not had any such network issues with other games during this time period.

    Xbox live connection issue

    Disconnected me midgame and is not allowing me to reconnect to Xbox live. Tried all steps listed and still getting connection error. Any help would be greatly apperciated!

    Disconnected and can not reconnect to Live.

    Was just able to sign back online now. Problem seems to be fixed. Hopefully.

    In addition to a power cycle you can try logging off xbox live, disconnecting your internet, and reconnecting your network.

    I disconnected from XBOX Live then reconnected. Worked for me.

    I can connect to live fine but when I try and go to MP in GeOW2 it disconnects me. If I exit to dash I reconnect no problem.

    I disconnect from Xbox live when inactive, i.e if i'm not playing a online game or not in a party with others and when i'm in a party i randomly disconnect and reconnect ALOT.

    i tried it but i am still disconnecting from Xbox live but i haven't tried to see weather or not i disconnect and reconnect from Xbox live party's yet...
