Disconnect from xbox live when trying to play a game

I keep disconnecting from xbox live whenever I play a game from a disk. i can play anything else like netflix but when I try a disk it says I disconnected then puts me back to the dashboard and after that it reconnects me back into live. Any help would be
fantastic.

Did you disconnect from xbox live? Even though Live was down you were still trying to connect. Next time disconnect and then play game.

i got this problem too i can play online games. but when im trying to download something:game,video... after 3-5 minutes xbox disconnects from xbox live and i have to reconnect.but if am not downloading anything i can stay connected to xbox live 4ever and
it will never disconnect. your link didnt helped.

 

I know this sounds annoying, but sometimes this happens due to a MAC address conflict with your router. Sometimes it happens when someone connects or removes a Kinect device, which for whatever reason changes the consoles MAC. Sometimes no rhyme or reason
exists. The great news is that this rarely happens with the console!

So what you want to do is go into Networking, disconnect from your current network and then reconnect, assuring a solid fresh connection with your router that will no longer drop when you play titles. Be sure to also allow your router to reboot prior to
doing the steps above please.

All should be fine after that!

 

ps - From the console, disconnect from the network. Then reboot the network by turning off the router for 60 seconds. Once it reboots, search for it via the console and reconnect with your security credentials You should no longer have additional issues.

 

I've tried that and it didn't work. Any other advice?
