Disconnect EA Account

I think an EA account I used years ago on an email I have since deleted is connected to my xbox account.

After all the EA Games have been added to ultimate, I noticed this after it keeps saying my account is ineligible.

I contacted EA support and they said it was on an old email. To remove the account I was going to have to prove what games I had on that account, and date of purchase. For an account I haven't used in years and have deleted the email connected to it!

Is there any way I can disconnect the account from the Xbox end?

not really, once its connected you need to unlink on ea side so you can then link your live account to a new ea account but doing this means you may lose some purchased items from ea.

The problem is that the EA account that is associated with my Xbox account is wrong. My Microsoft/Xbox account was the one that was hacked years ago and they connected their EA account to my Xbox account. EA won’t let me disconnect my Xbox account from that account because I don’t have that account’s information. I can see on the Game Pass app that there is some EA account linked to my Xbox account, but when I click “manage” it brings me to EA’s website. But, again, I cannot sign into this other person’s account to disconnect my Xbox account.

Its ridiculous. Someone should be able to fix this. I am going to have to start another “chat” with EA and they are going to tell me there’s nothing they can do since I don’t have access to that other EA account.

If you had a previous account linking and it doesnt say "EA play with game pass" under settings-> my account -> my membership in EA Desktop app then I suggest

- Clicking Manage from the settings in EA Desktop app to go to the EA customer portal website and under Connections disconnect the xbox account

- Then log out of EA Desktop and exit both apps

- Then install a EA game from xbox app

It will log you into EA Desktop and link accounts giving "EA play with game pass" membership and start downloading from EA Desktop app

Note it says you can only ever link one xbox account to your EA account

Again, the EA account was not compromised. The Xbox account was. I am not allowed to link my EA account to the Xbox account because my Xbox account is linked to the hacker’s EA account.

I understand that Xbox can not change how EA links accounts (although frankly they should be able to) but EA is not allowing me to disconnect the hacker’s EA account because, in their eyes, I am editing someone else’s account, which is not allowed.

So my account is just stuck in limbo. I have no options unless I get someone high enough in EA’s customer service that they can override the fact that I’m editing someone else’s account, and based on my conversations so far I don’t think that’s likely. The closest thing I have to an option here is to cancel my Game Pass subscription which I also do not want to do.
