    So i recently got a new game and attempted to put it in my xbox but it wont show up on the home menu won't come out and if i turn my xbox off and then back on it will be stuck on the xbox logo

    Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums! just to clarify, are you receiving an error codes or messages when you insert the disc into the disc drive? If not, I would try the solutions in this support article for

    Xbox One Won't read game disc     as well as this support article for
    Troubleshooting Game Disc issues    .

    Hi, CharlieBailey1

    try this

    hold eject button and controller button on the side and hold power button for approximately 15 seconds, when it boots up you have 4 options, go straight to reset to factory settings, keeping apps and games , let it do its thing
    follow on screen prompts next next etc , game console is fixed

    if this does not help go to Xbox Live Chat Support and
    speak to an Agent there by telling the Virtual assistant this phrase "Talk to an Agent" this should bypass the usual questions the Virtual Assistant will ask.

    if you don't recognize the disc, it would be best that you were to change it, unless you do not recognize other discs, then the problem is your reader
