disc wont read after system update

All installs, always require you to leave the game disc in the system in order to start the game up, after that, it wont use it to read but you still need it in the machine.

I'm in the same boat .. My X box was working just fine and then all of a sudden after the new dash update it wont read games I bought a brand new game and haven''t even been able to play it because it wont read it .. it will read music CD's but not game
discs .. this is beyond frustrating .. it was WORKING JUUUST FINE before the update.. is there no way to just revert my X box to the previous update.. and use that ?

setting up for the next system update later in the year for the new disc format probably, you wont see any effects or new features after this update today

Sidenote....that gamertag with the gamerpic combo......interesting

This is generally indicative of a failing optical drive and has nothing to do with the system update. You should contact support for a repair.

have you checked for other corupt files on your HD,also try clearing your cache
