  1. Disc won't eject

As simple as it sounds. I searched and was able to manually eject my Black Ops 3 disc with a large paper clip, and get Fallout 4 back in where it belongs, but the eject button now no longer responds. This is my second xbox one, my 1st one was out of warranty
and died, so I paid for the replacement. This one is maybe 2 months old. I can live with the paper clip fix, except I have halo 5, Battlefront, and Black ops 3 all in the rotation at the moment, and I'm about to get in to Rainbow Six Seige. This could be
a lot of manual paper clip ejecting.

Is there a fix for the button? I've tried the reboot option.

    :)

  2. Disc won't eject?

    Hey there!

Sorry to hear that you're running into trouble with your console. It sounds like from what you're describing that your Xbox 360 is malfunctioning. (If you're on Xbox One, the results are the same though.) The console will need a repair and you can find more
info about that for the Xbox One
    here
    or the Xbox 360
    here
    .

    Disc won't eject?

First off, I apologize for my Gamertag and picture, it was several, several years ago and I'm too lazy to fix them.

    Hello,

Yesterday I was just minding my own business, playing Black Ops 2 and having fun and all that. I turn it off, go to bed, and do whatever until the next time I got on.

Today i ejected my Bo2, and put in my Fifa. Once i put in the Fifa, it was making this weird noise. I tried to eject and it wouldn't. Now I know about the "grinding" noise and it's not that. The noise is almost like the disk trying to eject but it physically
cannot. I turned off my Xbox, reset it, and everytime I turn it on now it makes that noise several times. When i hit the eject button, same noise. The game is in the console, but even my Xbox won't play it.

Now I also try to manually eject, and I tried for literally like an hour, numerous times with numerous different tools like a paperclip, bobby pin, and even an Allen Key and either I'm missing something or it doesn't work either. I put it in the hole and
    push it but nothing works.

Now I probably will have to send it in, but I just want confirmation. I'll also probably have to send it in with my Fifa still in the console, and that would ruin the disc so I'd have to get another one. If anybody knows how to fix this, or even if I do
have to send it in, do you know how much would this cost me?

Perform a hard reset following these instructions. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console. Once it is back up and operational test for results. Let us know. Good Luck!

  6. I tried the hard reset before posting here. I also did my research, and there aren't any apparent fixes, so I guess it is the paper clip for now, really not that bad when compared to what I've gone through, I just do not understand how something as simple
as "eject disc" can be a problem.

    Hey Andrew!

As far as I know, once you have get a replacement for your console, you will have an Extended 95 days Warranty to Microsoft Xbox. So if your console is only for 2 months, you can still request for a repair.

You can go to : https://myservice.xbox.com/en-US/Pages/Welcome.aspx

    Disc launches but won't eject

    Hey lighthouse!

Sorry to hear about the disc issues. As you're part of the Xbox One Preview Program, you'll want to leave that feedback using the on-console app if you haven't already. Also, for further assistance you'll want to head over to the

    preview forums
. Preview builds can have different troubleshooting steps that we're not always aware of and they'll be in the best position to help you out.

    Thanks for understanding!

    Eject button not working!

Ok I got it to manually eject but now it won't take it back in. As if it has no power to pull the disc in.

console won't eject or recognize disc anymore

If the disc won't eject, you can try to force eject it: https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/console/manually-eject-disc.

On all Xbox One consoles, the hole will be found on the left wall of the console, around the corner from the disc slot. On the original Xbox One, the hole is in plain view, but below the grill on the left side.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks,
    Kyle
