Disc version not working

Help!

I have purchased the disc edition of Killer Instinct Combo Breaker Pack. I have updated the game and waited for it to install. Unfortunately, I am unable to play as all the characters on the selection screen are grayed out. When I try to choose a fighter, the
game tells me I need to buy them first.

I have redeemed the character code for TJ Combo and he works fine, but all the other fighters are nowhere to be found! Help! Am I missing something obvious here?

It should be like that , thatd be awesome. Then when you sell it, somehow your license disappears

I deleted the game and took the disc out and it was in the download section

yes, i'm in the same predicament. I didn't pay $20 for tj combo!

It´s the same with me, and thi problem was reported here too:

I can´t believe anybody from the developers aren´t aware of this, it´s not an isolated thing, we bought the game and can´t play.

 

Delete the demo/free version, disconnect your Xbox from your internet so that it doesn't try to download the season 2 update, and install the disc. That will let you play the characters from the game from the disc. I haven't downloaded the update since doing
this, but at least you can play as the characters. You can also go to "manage bundle" and check to see if the individual characters are installed. I understand your frustration... But the above worked for me.

 

Having the same problem - I have purchased the Killer Instinct Combo Breaker Pack Disc:

When I installed it, it did not install Season One characters - includes Jago, Sabrewulf, Glacius, Thunder, Sadira, Orchid, and Spinal, or Fulgore DLC. It did download TJ Combo.

 

i have the exact same problem and was told by xbox help to contact the developer which is bs

 

Same here and it sucks that its broke with this update im very upset hope they will help us

 

Uninstall your game, and put the disc in. Let the disc install then start the game with the disc in.

 

Read the other thread Lord Avallon linked to and user Zeke Guerrero gave this answer:

"FYI hit menu button on disk. manage bundle. they should show up on the right. highlight and instal each char."

Tried it, worked for me without reinstalling. Seems you have to do this to install "dlc" content from the disc, an instruction with the disc itself would have been nice.
