    Disc Unreadable on new game!


    Hello! My Xbox 360 Slim will not run Borderlands Pre-Sequel, the game is brand new just opened, there is not a single scratch on the disc but yet it keeps saying disc unreadable...So I cleaned it off with a cloth like it says and still....disc unreadable,
    the game is installed on my xbox 360 and that doesn't seem to make a difference because it still won't work, I have tried clearing my cache and nothing. What makes this even more frustrating is that every single game I own works perfectly but for some reason
    my console will not run this game... Any help would be appreciated.

    Disc Unreadable on new game!

    I am in exactly the same situation.

    I purchased Dragonage Inquisition last week to find I needed a larger hard drive.

    I purchased a Microsoft 360 gb drive and the game played ok initially but now reads ' disc unreadable'.

    I have followed all the recommended solutions but still the same.

    Other games play o cannot be the hard drive.

    PLEASE HELP!!

    The game is still not working on my console, I tried the game on my older Xbox 360 and it works fine without a problem, ugh. The only thing Microsoft said was for me to send my console in for repairs, for $100.

    unreadable disc

    I was just able to play one game and now i get the Game Error message that says the disc is unreadable. :( it is a NEW disc!!!

    The reason it seems to be working when playing from the disc is that your xbox hasn't had any reason to access the data in the damaged part of the disc yet. When it does need to you will get a disc unreadable error or the game will freeze.

    When installing it needs to access the whole disc which is why it always fails.

    And to answer your question it will say disc unreadable at some point when the game needs to access the damaged part of the disc.

    As you've already tried one of those disc repair services then your best option is to get a new disc.

    Unreadable. ALL discs are unreadable and dont even register as a game or DVD disc. I cant play anything in my xbox from disc. IMEDIATELY after the update.
