"Disc unreadable" error on downloaded games

Ok I have tried everything that I have seen on the forums about this issue and nothing seems to solve the problem and it seems as though this problem has been happening to people since 2012 and Microsoft still hasn't fixed it yet? I for one believe that
it is ridiculous that I can't play a game that I have spent my hard earned money on because Microsoft won't fix this issue.

Downloaded game/Downloaded content

A short while ago I downloaded 'Halo: Reach' from the marketplace. It worked fine for about two weeks, then it wouldn't load. "Can't start Halo: Reach" it would say. So I deleted it, cleared the cache and downloaded it again. Now, it will load the main
menu but when I try to play any mode at all, it says "Disc unreadable." Note: There is no disc. This is also happening with my downloaded version of 'Oblivion'. Plays for about 10 minutes and says 'Disc unreadable.' THERE IS NO DISC!? Additionally, if I attempt
to start one of the DLC missions for 'Mass Effect' (original) I get the disc unreadable message despite the fact that the disc for this installs and I can literally do everything on the disc. DLC works for every other game I own so this cannot simply be a
HDD error. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

Have you tried re-downloading it?

I have tried that and it still gives me the disc read error.

 

How about a big F you to Microsoft for not helping me with my issue. I have tried 3 different memory devices and it gives me the same exact error every time. It is not the device it is clearly the console. And I swear if anyone tells me to get a new console
to solve the problem im done. It would be nice to play a game that I bought a long time ago on the marketplace but you still haven't solved the issue. You gave me things to try and yes I have tried EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM and still haven't been able to play
Forza Horizon. If you tell me to create another forum because this one is fairly old that is going to make me mad because I created this one last month and got one response and that's it.

ing troubles your next step would be to contact official support.

 

Sorry this thread must have slipped through my watch list somehow. As posted above and as stated in the link I posted if the steps do not work then you should contact phone support. The issue may indeed be with the console and would need to be repaired.
