disc tray and kinect issues

ever since becoming a part of the xbox preview program i was forced to update my console which was no big deal but ever since it restarted after the update my disc tray has begun to refuse reading xbox one games. also my kinect has begun to turn off and
on. i find this extremely frustrating considering the console isnt even two years old and my warranty was up in march. now ive been a member of the xbox community for almost ten years now and never had an issue with the xbox 360 no repairs or anything ever
needed. unfortunately i dont not have the money to pay for the repair of both my console and kinect due to the fact that i am an unemployed full time college student. is there anything you guys can do to help out a loyal xbox customer?

FAV: Not having to use Kinect

Least FAV: No disc tray

you still are saying this wrong... if your disc tray breaks on your DVD your TV will still work..yes... also... if the kinect breaks.. yes, your TV will still work just like with the DVD problem..... since the Kinect is more like your disc tray and the XB1
is your DVD player.. since both need each other to work properly...

 

I would get in direct contact to Xbox Support stating your multiple issues.

Not sure about the kinect problem but as for the disc tray I've found that when you put the game in if you hold the disc for just a few seconds after it starts to try to pull it into the console, that it loads it. Bizarre solution, but it works every time
for me.
