    Disc stopped launching


    My son has been playing Farming simulator 17 the past 2 months. Just in the past month or so the game will not launch. The disc is clean and free of scratches but when launched the screen changes as though it will begin to run then returns to the home screen.
    I have run it through a power cycle what else can I try? Thanks

    Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition dlc won't show up in game.

    Try launching the game with disc 2 and see if that works.

    The disc is fine!

    Do you have a friend with a working disc? You could try installing their disc, then launching the game from your own.

    Sorry to hear it. If the power cycle did not work then try a factory reset on the console. There is an option to keep installed games and apps so you won't need to redownload them. Hopefully that will work for you.

    I have had the same problem since launch, it drives me nuts........ Why does it spin, the games are installed, all it needs to do is verify the disc is there and stop spinning. I assume its spinning as it doesn't make the noise with. No disc....

    If you are still having problems with a disc download do this. Stop the download, and delete the progress. Hard reset your machine. Insert the COD AW disc, and DECLINE the update. Once the install is complete launch the game and you will be asked to install
    the update.

    Both consoles have had small failure rates, but all have been overblown. Hell, I have a launch 360 that is fine. My previous one didn't RROD, but the disc tray stopped recognising discs.

    Can not install disc after game update

    No luck I'm afraid. Same result. Got to 42% on the install when I was offline and stopped. Prompted me to launch it so I did. Then it told me I had to update so I logged in online and tried to update. It started at 29% and then stopped. I've tried "try installing
    again" over and over but it just stops straight away.

    Could it be the disc?
