    Disc still spins when tray is opened.


    So I know that you shouldn't open your tray when you are playing a game BUT accidents happen.So my controller went dead during a match so I went to plug in my charge cable and accidentally touch the open button(the touch sensitive kind) and all hell broke
    loose. My battlefield 4 disc came out spinning,leaving a ring around the game..rendering it useless.

    My point in posting this is that a lot of other cd/dvd players that have trays..Stop the disc when the eject/open button is pressed..then the tray opens.So can we please get this implemented into the 360?

    If I play a game/watch a movie that reads from the disc when i open the tray the disc is still spinning at it has slightly scratched two of my games they still play alright but it has become annoying! Any help>

    IT sounds like its having a hard time reading the disks and might need to go for a repair. Regarding your games, can you install them to the HD? They don't really spin if you install the main games you play.

    Make sure you give the disc time to spin down before you open the tray, it's not recommended to open the tray while the disc is spinning. If this isn't the case, it is likely a hardware problem.

    I would do what iG0 Easy suggested, but I would like to ask you if you were backing out to the dashboard from your game before ejecting each disc? I know it sounds simple, but trying to keep your options open here.

    @Garys Xbox: I think he means the games play fine but when he ejects the game from the console(presses the eject button) The game tray ejects with the game still spining.

    @reaperscythe The game should stop spinning before the console ejects the tray. I recremend calling support to get a repair or go to the support page and set up your repair there.
