Disc reading problems

'Been having some trouble with my Xbox one and its disc reader this past week, at first it was every once and a while, now i cant get it to work at all.

I put the disc in the xbox disc tray and it sometimes makes a short "grinding" noise, then a pop up says the disc cant be read, i will eject the disc and put it back in multiple times with the same results... There no getting around this other than sending
in my xbox for warranty repairs is there?

Disc Reading Problems

My game was in my xbox 360 as someone in my family banged on the side and now my game will not play...Ideas on how to fix????? (Game was Halo: Reach and i wasn't even half way through so it's bugging me and i would prefer to not spend another
$50.00 on it.)

 

Disc Reading Problems

Is there a circle going around the disk, on the bottom? This happens when you move your console while the disk is spinning, and will make those portions (or even the whole game) unplayable. I do believe Gamestop does it, and I am pretty sure it's fairly
cheap.

Sounds like you do possibly have a faulty disc drive that would need you Xbox One servicing under the warranty repair, however one thing that might be worth trying first is if you have a disc drive cleaner put it in the drive for a minute or two and trying
playing a game again.
