Disc reading issue.

Discus and support Disc reading issue. in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I bought my X1 in january and have a digital libary but I have no physical games to see if im affected.     I bought my X1 in january and have a digital libary but I have no physical games to see if im affected.

    I would like to know if theres any chance this has affected me or does it just affect people who bought there console recently?

    disc reading issue

    alright so i took out the disc drive from an xbox that didnt work and put it on another one that did work but now when i try to play a game it disconnects me and then re connects me but kicks me to the dash board or it says its a dvd any help?

    disc reading issue

    Unfortunately you can't just swap DVD drives from one xbox to another. Each drive is locked to the system that it originally came from.

    You'll need to get your xbox fixed by MS and there will be a charge as the warranty will now be invalid.

    Hey there, BENOCIDE! If your console was one of the ones affected by this issue, you would have received communication from us stating that it is. If you didn't receive anything from us about this, then you have nothing to worry about! Disc reading issue. :)

    Heya APEX ASSASSlN.

    To clarify, if you recently purchased you Xbox One, it may be quicker to exchange it at the retailer. I would check in with the store you purchase for before shipping off your console.

    You should receive instructions to your e-mail with steps on how to ship your Xbox One. You would need to take the parcel to the depot that the included shipping label is intended for.

    Ok so I have now done a reset. Still 360 games are not working also tried DVD and CD and now they both don't work.

    No the console ain't in the preview. But I have just signed it up to. To see if this is the cause.

    Thanks for trying the steps. Are you in the Xbox One Preview program by chance on either console? Does the console need an update if you check?

    You can find out by doing these steps.

    1. Scroll left from Home to open the guide.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select All Settings.
    4. Select System.
    5. Select Console info & updates.
