    I don't know what's wrong with my Xbox, it's only two years old and it won't read any discs. Six hundred dollar machine and it won't read a **** movie or CD. This Xbox is trash. Nice paper weight and something to fill the trash with

    Fixing the disc drive reader?

    My xbox has not been reading any discs, so I can't play games or watch movies. I took apart the Xbox to move the reader forward because it was stuck. It worked for a day, but now it is back to not working properly. Should I buy a new reader or replace the box with the disc drive in it?

    my xbox wont read discs

    If other game discs are unreadable, then most likely it’s the optical disc reader that is faulty. This is not something that you can fix it yourself, better contact the dealer where you bought it from and check if it is still under warranty. It requires some replacement.

    HELP ME PLEASE! XBOX ONE BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY NOT WORKING AT ALL?!?!?!!?!?!?

    Try maybe seeing if it is your disc reader perhaps. Or even the disc itself. You can test the disc reader by putting a bluRay or old DVD into the disc reader. Maybe try to clean the disc or buff it. I have had issues in the past unsolved with a specific
    disc and had to buy a new disc.

    I think the answer here is No. Not 100% sure on the question though.

    Are you asking is there a way to "stack" more than one disc in the reader? The Xbox only has the one disc reader and it only holds one disc at a time.

    Are you thinking of connecting an external disc reader on USB and hoping to queue things that way? Don't know that will work based on drivers being needed.
