    Disc read/please purchase error

Wondering why when I turn my Xbox one off after playing a disc version of Titanfall - on reboot it prompts me to purchase the game when I go to play it again? Sends me to the marketplace. The problem is fixed by ejecting and reinserting the disc - but it
is a definite annoyance. Is this avoidable? I have tried different methods of turning off the system and it seems to happen regardless of exit method. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

    :)

    Try doing the following:

    Uninstall Blue-Ray App.

Go to Settings>Disc and Blu-ray Settings

Make sure there is a check at 24 hz.

Scroll down to persistent storage, clear it.

Go back to the home screen.

Make sure no disc is in disc drive

Press and hold the power button on the console console for 10 seconds

Unplug all the cables, and remove the power cord from the wall

Wait for the light on Power supply unit to disappear

Reconnect cables in this order: HDMI (both, if necessary), Kinect, Ethernet (if necessary), Power cord to console and directly to wall, (if possible.)

    Restart console

    Download Blu-Ray player app

Go to home screen, and test:

Hi anticlaus! A couple of quick questions first. Would you tell me what console version you are currently running? To find this, go to Settings -> System -> Console Info. Under the version number, you should be seeing xb_rel_1404.140411-1830, which is the
most recent version (the April update.)

The issue you are experiencing is a result of the disc drive not "waking up" after the console is started, until the drive eject button is pressed. The newest update is supposed to have taken care of that (along with some other disc drive issues.)

If you DO have the latest version, I would suggest power-cycling the console by holding the touch-sensitive power light (Xbox Nexus logo) on the front of the console for 8-10 seconds until the system powers down. Then, after about 15 seconds, the light on
the power supply will turn orange, which indicates it is fully powered-down. After that, you should be able to start up and give it a try. (Sometimes, even with the latest update, the system requires a full shut down in order for certain changes to take effect.
    Strange, but it happens.)

    Let me know!

XBOX 360 digital game asking for disc

    Hi,

Can you please tell us what game you have purchased please? Is this on an Xbox 360 console?

As for the "This disc is unreadable" error, this is not to be taken literally. This is an issue reading content, but the reason the console gives a disc error is due in no small part to the Xbox 360 Operating system being rather limited.

The 360 was never programmed with specific error messages for problems reading content downloaded/installed to hard drives or storage devices. When it encounters an issue it displays the only error message it can, the aforementioned "This disc is unreadable"
    error.

    Please tell us:

    What game you've purchased.

What storage device your console has.

    How old your console is.

    Thanks.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (Warzone) Disc Read Error [3.1]

I cleaned the disc and still had the errors. I decided to remove the disc, completely uninstall the game, purchase the digital version, and reinstall everything. I am still getting kicked from Warzone games with a “Disc read error [3.1]”

The game is absolutey unplayable at this point. Please fix this issue or give me a refund for both of my game purchases.

call of duty black ops 2 wont read

Disc read errors are generally symptomatic of a failing optical drive. This situation will probably get worse in time and you'll be unable to read any discs. It's best to contact support for a repair or ask for a replacement console from wherever you purchased
    it.
