Disc read issue

if I put any previously installed disc into the system to play, it works just fine and recognizes the disc. However, any new games that are not installed previously are not recognized when inserted. I mean absolutely nothing happens. I have tried the energy
saving restart method and turning the auto play on and off. I am out of ideas. Any answers?

GTA 5 keeps restarting

Encountered same issue today. Read all forums. Checked my disc, disc has a ring (scratch) burned into the outer rim. Disc issue. From what I have read, I believe everyone who has this issue is due to the disc. Suggest getting the Downloadable version
from Games on Demand. Hope this helps.

 

XBox One disc goes back into console on ejection

I've had issues with my disc drive from day one, unfortunately. Sometimes I can put a disc in and it reads it fine, other times I have to insert and eject the disc ten times before it finally recognizes it. =/

 

The already installed games require less data to be read by the disc driver, while installing a disc game from the start requires more data and it seems your disc driver fails to read the data fully. This is a hardware issue and you should your console for
