Discus and support Disc Read Errors in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So I just joined the Xbone family and had gotten to the 5th prestige in Ghosts on my 360.     Disc Read Errors


    So I just joined the Xbone family and had gotten to the 5th prestige in Ghosts on my 360. My Score transferred over but not my individual game stats (TDM, KC, etc etc) which is no biggie (not sure if this is related to the disc errors).

    I am now getting Disc Read errors whenever I play FOG or STORMFRONT. For FOG I get the Image64 error and for STORMFRONT I get some LMG Armor error...

    I keep trying to uninstall Ghosts by "Managing" the title but it just sits on a black screen with Manage and the only option for me is to select my profile.

    So frustrating.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Yea i phoned Support so have been sent all the UPS info etc; just need to get a box and get it ready for collection!

    I bought a dvd disc cleaner from Tescos for about £6 when I got disc read errors, never had the issue since, that was 6 months ago

    I havent seen this, but I dont have the DLC. Maybe clear cache' and reDL?

    So I uninstalled everything ghosts related and reinstalled the game..now I get an image 13 error at the beginning and can't even download the festive pack. Wtf.

    I get image file 62 most of the time and that's with playing regular maps and dlc. Sometimes I can't even get into a match because this happens.

    No disc read errors. Just backcompat error. Disc 1 reads and installs fine. There are not deviations on any of the discs. Just two and three won't work.

    my disc is read but it will only get to 74% intalling it on the HDD and then say disc read error, clean disc. it is fresh ou tof the package

    I agree. Do not break the tamper seals on your xbox! This will not only void the warrenty but it will make it so you can never send it in for repair by Microsoft again! Not only that but if you ever get the disk drive replaced by a third party, they dont
    have the means to make the disk drive serial and the xbox serial match, which can and has resulted in a console ban.

    I agree that installing the disk to the hard drive would be the best if it will allow you to. Highlight the "play game" icon and install to hard drive. Although, if other disks aren't working then its probably not the disk itself but the system cache or
    your profile itself. I would first clear the system cache (system settings > storage > highlight storage device and press Y, then select "clear system cache" using the A button. Also while you are in there, check for corrupt files in the hard drive (most likely
    in the games and apps folder). If that doesnt work try deleting your profile (PROFILE ONLY) and redownloading it using your MS acct and PW. Sometimes a corrupt profile can cause similar issues.

    Please let me know if any of these suggestions work.
