    August Update Issues (Disc Error)

    Has anyone else had problems with their Xbox One not being able to read game discs since installing the latest August update?

    Xbox Support said the issue has been wide-spread but I haven't seen anyone mention it on forums or articles.

    Sometimes my Xbox One won't read discs.

    I deal with this problem when I switch games. No error comes up, it just still says "insert disc." It takes a few tries till it finally works. I also have the latest preview update if that means anything.

    I had same problem other day. Had to to do a hard power reset. First time this has happened. Now this was before sundays preview update. Hope they get a patch up for it. Some guys on youtube says that the May update should have it. Hope so thats the only
    problem I have had with my Xbox. XD

    Iam having this problem all the time now too. Xbox One can't read any of my games now have do a hard reset every time. Please fix.

    i have the same problem, don't need to do a reset though...

    just turn of the console and insert the disc to turn on the X1, reads the disc just fine...
