Disc Read Error (0x21), Unregister from Updates?

As frustrating as it may be, being a
beta tester isn't about getting things early and having fun before others, but more this. Experiencing bugs and reporting them for them to be fixed. That said, I'm curious if i were to "Unregister" from the games/ apps section, would
it affect me getting a fix for the disc read error many beta testers are getting?

To play it safe, I'll stay registered. Just wondering what could happen if I don't.

After Update: Play a game, ejects and automatically inserts then error:Check Your Disc (0x21)

After the update games cannot be read after playing a one disc (Titanfall) When ejected it automatically inserts it back within a second then says "Check your Disc (0x21) The Fix: console has to be fully powered down to view the new game that previously
gave that error.

disc drive wont read games

I'm also having this issue using the preview update. When I eject my disc, my drive will push the disc out and suck it right back in. When it does this is when I get the same can't read disc error (0x21). It will eject properly the second time but it will
not read any discs until I do a hard reset. ( However I did notice if I eject the disc with my console turned off my drive will not suck my disc back in and I will not get the error.) This is still annoying and hope it gets resolved.

If you unregister, it will only take effect for the next wave (1405). For the current wave (1404), you continue getting all the previewed updates until it goes public - this would include any fixes they implement, or anything else released, under 1404. After
that point you are on the mainstream release path and only receive updates when they go public, and are thus more stable and less error-prone.

I have also had this issue of disc error where in the middle of an online game it just kicks you out for no reason. then it says there is no disc when obviously there is. I had to hard start the system to fix. (remove powersource) Now my head set wont connect
for some reason. This isnt the first time, sometimes it just drops you back to home screen in the middle of the match, annoying at best.

So far there is a method to the disc read error that has been working. It is simply to wait. Thanks to another post in another thread regarding the topic, i tried the method and it works.

When the disc ejects and gets automatically pulled back in, don't do anything, simply wait. After 20-30 seconds the disc tray will fire up on its own and begin reading the disc again. You will see the game Icon reappear in the "blank disc" spot on the dashboard.
It is now safe to eject the game and place another without getting the "Disc read error" message.

It's annoying, but would you rather just wait a few seconds or continue to unplug, clear cache, hold power button for a reset? Personally, I rather wait.

My Xbox One has also been having issues with reading discs. Ever since the march update, any time I switch discs I get error code (0x21) saying that my disc is dirty or damaged. The only way I am able to get the system to read the disc is to do a hard reset,
which includes unplugging the system. On top of that, anytime I switch discs I have to do the same reset, and I am unable to even play the same game after turning the console off via its regular sleep mode.
