Disc not reading

    Disc not reading


    I got a new game as a disc. I put it in and it doesn't load. My eject button doesn't work and it won't let me manually eject. How do i get it out?

    Unless things have changed without anyone telling me, Xbox 360 S consoles only have a 1 year general warranty period, and original Xbox 360 consoles have a 1 year general warranty and a 3 year warranty for the three flashing red lights and E74.

    Regardless of console, a faulty DVD drive is covered under 1 year only.

    To the original poster, make sure you test multiple discs to confirm the problem is with the console and not a specific or few specific discs. If it is your console and it's less than a year old, contact Xbox Support at 1-800-4MY-XBOX.

    Heya TheMagicSeanson!

    Sorry to hear about the disc drive trouble. If you haven't already please be sure to check out this
    Disc Drive Troubleshooter and run through all the included steps. That should help you eject the disc manually and hopefully get your console to read the game.

    Take to gamestop and see if they can buff-out the game ..That's one thing I like to get a scratched game from a friend for free cause they think it doesn't work then take it to have it get buffed, then it works and play fine like a new cd ....lol suckers!!!!

    For most games I recommend you install the game in the hard drive it makes the CD spin allot less
