    Disc Issues.....


    I was curious if anyone else has been having issues with the one reading a game disc? Gives me that famous error to check and make sure it is an Xbox one compatible disc. Which it is!

    Well I found a YouTube video that has fixed the issue. FYI. Apparently you have to tilt the Xbox from the front. I placed an old Xbox 360 game box under it. For some reason the disc does not insert all the way to where the laser reads it. According to all
    the google hits I got......it is a very well known issue affecting a lot of gamers.

    Anyway.....after I placed that box on the bottom front, it helps the disc go all the way back.......i have not had that error show up. Reads discs perfectly now.

    BITTER SWEET!!!!!

    Million dollar question: Is MS doing anything about it????

    Got this particular Xbox One at launch.

    Disc issues

    I recently found a fog machine and while I thought I had covered up my Xbox 360 system - it is now not reading disc's the download content is playing like it's supposed to - but it's not accepting or reading the disc and I did try a few different ones

    Plus....is anyone else having issues with the online Mic?

    I can barely hear anyone online. Sometimes the Mic dont even work. WTF!!!!

    Jesus...don't be "tilting" the console! The slight movement while that disc is rotating can cause the platform to get off balance. This is why the warranty and info says not to move the console during play! Mine has the same problem and has always had
    it. There isn't much you can do except send it in: don't dare try to repair yourself or send it anywhere else. Once that console is opened, there is a sensor that will detect it. And the next time you log into Live MS will get a signal. They will just
    assume you were trying to mod the console and it and your account will both be banned.

    And before you start "they can't do that" yes they can: there is a forum here just for suspensions.

    If your disc is not working after just purchasing it, you should return it and get a new copy.

    You may also try installing the disc. Note that if it does not install correctly, the disc is likely damaged.

    Sounds like the fog may have damaged the laser that reads the discs. If it's not reading then you're stuck with either sending it in for repair or purchasing a new one.
