disc is spinning when eject Help

it's xbox 360 slim and it does when I eject farcry 3 it never happen to other game should I clean up my xbox or it's normal?

Spinning Disc Constantly!!!

Hello,

So just recently my discs have been ejected while still "spinning."

I decided to start dashboarding first, then ejecting my disc.. nope still spinning.

So now I have sat in dashboard for the last 20-30 minutes since playing, probably longer.. and when I hit eject the disc was still spinning!

This is certainly not good for my games... did I mention these games are also installed and shouldn't spin beyond startup in the first place?

Please help!

 

Disc drive help

Hi My xb1 disc drive is spinning constantly even when u have quit a game ? Is this normal ?, can some one please check for me ? I have only noticed as it's super quiet when I take a disc out. But from what I can tell it's spinning all the time with a disc
in, YouTube app doesn't cause it to stop . Only an eject does. Thanks in advance

Sorry to see any disc drive issues! When you attempt to eject the disc, is the game still launched on your console? If so, I suggest quitting out of the game completely before ejecting.

However, if you are on the dashboard and still have the disc spinning, please let me know! We'll look into what our next steps should be.

it does even I eject on dashboard after I play it long time

seems it only happen to Far cry 3

 

I don't think it's your disc drive then, as other discs would be running into the issue, too. It's worth cleaning it, but I'm not sure it will help you out completely. We don't have any official cleaners that we can suggest, though.

Do you happen to have another console, or a friend's console, you can try the disc in to see if it spins there? I'm wondering if it might be the disc itself rather than your console. If you can, give that a shot.

Let me know if you can try both, and what happens when you do!

how to clean the disc drive without tear apart. or it prob disc issue it has scratch at back

 

There are disc drive cleaners that you can buy. They look like DVDs with a tiny brush on them, and help clean the lens. We don't sell any officially, so I am unable to offer any types that may help you.

However, if the disc has a scratch on it, that could be what is causing it. Testing it on another console would help us determine that.

Let me know if you're able to try either of these things.
