    Hi,

    I left my xbox one x console installing BF1 disc for roughly 2 hours. When i returned to the console it asked me to restart it, which i did.

    Once it decided (after 5 minutes or so) to startup again i instantly got a ‘Oops, Something went wrong’ screen and was hit with the troubleshoot screen. I decided to go with the complete factory reset option, feeling brave. This didnt work. Literally makes
    the screen go black then comes back to the troubleshoot screen.

    I then decided to go to the very, very helpful microsoft/xbox website to which I found tonnes and tonnes of information about everything other than what I needed.

    I then proceeded to check my warranty and to my surprise, I was covered! Letssss Gooooo!!

    I decided I would opt to send my console for repair with an amazing 26 day turn around, this is tickling my nipples now. Just gets better and better!

    So after I finished the form to send my xbox off I then needed to confirm it in my email, Simple aye?

    My email address has been hacked and i cant access it. So now i cant even send my xbox off for repair.

    Can anyone help?

    I don’t want links to ‘troubleshooting’ threads. They don’t work. I currently have a £680 dust collector which may be used as a car wheel chock in the next few days if i cant get this sorted.

    One thing I can think of is restarting your xbox without a disk in it. The other thing I think might work is just waiting a couple hours and trying again. I know this seems pointless but similar things happened to my xbox and all I had to do to fix the problem
    is wait.

    Also you said your email was hacked so that makes me believe your account may have also been hacked. Try to make a new account to see if that will let you into your xbox. If you can get on using an alt account than I am sorry to say that your main account
    was hacked.
    Firstly thanks for the reply and recommendations.

    Neither of these helped though. Left the xbox for about 14 hours and tried again to no avail.

    Microsoft are refusing to help (in regards of sending off my xbox) as i cant access my email.

    Bug

    Did you uninstall disc 2? That disc isn't supposed to be installed to the hard drive. Rockstar stated that this could lead to gameplay issues.

    The installed game still needs the disc to read.the ring on the disc may be preventing the startup process

    it wont let me install the disc without an internet connection, which leads me to believe that the install is partly from the disc and partly from online
