Discus and support Disc Install in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Did Microsoft change something with disc install? It won't automatically pop up for any unistalled disc.     Did Microsoft change something with disc install? It won't automatically pop up for any unistalled disc. But as soon as i put in a installed disc it loads right up. Nothing wrong with the discs, or the discs drive. I haven't had this problem before the
    new update. Any answers?

    ONLY install the INSTALL disc (Disc 1) to the HDD. DO NOT install the PLAY disc (Disc 2) to the HDD!

    REQUIRES the 8gb installation. A 2nd disc is the play disc that is optional to install to the hard drive but can be played as is.

    If it is not installing correctly from your disc, the disc is definitely broken. remove the current install and try reinstall with the same disc.

    If it can't finish the instal, the disc is damaged and won't work.

    Instaling doesn't include all files and it still relies on the game disc to some degree.

    Hey there eo.

    To install the Disc 2 content, insert the Disc after Disc 1 is installed and return to the Home screen on your Xbox One. Once you're on the Home screen, select the install disc and install the content. Once everything is installed continue playing the game
    with Disc 2. Let us know how it goes.
