Disc Insert Issue

Whenever I try to put a disc into my xbox it will make a loud scary noise that sounds like rumbling whir (if I had to guess I would say its the laser lens making the noise as if its being forced at a quick pace). After that it will not be recognized by the
xbox that there is even a disc in there. It just has the 'Insert Disc' icon. I have waited for up to five minutes or it to acknowledge the disc but it never does. I have to eject the disc and try inserting it again and it will usually do the same thing. Ive
had to repeat the process up to 10 - 15 times before it finally makes the normal disc read noise.

Here are some things Ive tried:

- Waited up to 5 - 7 minutes before trying to insert the disc after ejecting it

- Cleaning the disc (it happens even with a disc that is fresh out of the case)

- Resetting my xbox with the disc in it to see if it will recognize it

- Waiting to see if it will eventually recognize it after making the noise and hitting A while hovering on the 'Insert Disc' icon

So far nothing has seemed to work. Does anyone else have this problem or know of it happening to others? Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to fix this or just something to put up with? Any ideas or suggestions are welcomed! Thanks!

insert disc issue

My friend (gamer tag - SAGE 219) already bought the game "Overwatch" (which was purchased 2 months ago) and "The Division" (was purchased on the day one that it released). And when he's trying to
play them, it says to insert disc or buy the game. And then, sends to the Xbox store and just says play game and loops.

It's kinda weird because he did try to check the licenses on this link:
account.xbox.com/.../MyGames but these 2 games are not showing. Also, he did try checking his transaction history and bank statement but can't seem to see the charges.

But if you will try to search for his gamer tag and "compare games", you will see that there's a progress and achievement on the game.

I wanna know what happened?

XBox One disc goes back into console on ejection

I've had issues with my disc drive from day one, unfortunately. Sometimes I can put a disc in and it reads it fine, other times I have to insert and eject the disc ten times before it finally recognizes it. =/

 

the drive is going you need to send it in for repairs , i had the same thing as i am on my 3rd Xbox one and it was the same issue every time. So send it in asap before the warranty expires . It could be a few things but its going to break completely so you
have to send it in for repairs but its diskdrive related.
