Disc games not working

I put the disc in and the game loads up the first screen like normal for 8 seconds, then the screen goes black and send me back to the dashboard. Its doing this with all Disc games but my digital downloads are working fine. This has happened since I started
game sharing. Is it my xbox or is this linked to game sharing?

Does anyone have any solutions for this?

Booting back to dashboard? Do games actually install?

What? you took the disc out? Thats why its not working, you need to leave the disc in, its a disc based game.

Disc Not working

The issue may lie with the laser in your 360, it may have become dirty and having difficulty reading the games

I have a issue with discs to. Some of the newer games like gears of war, the division I cant get to load straight away take me about 10 tries before it starts reading the discs. So I don't know if the newer games are burnt differently on the discs or if
they have changed the disc type.

Are you asking that if you have a disc based game, and play it with the disc in the drive, but then eject the disc, will it still work? The answer to that is no. If it is a disc game, you have to have the disc in to play the game.

Sorry about your problem there.

When you try other discs that work, are these 360 discs or Xbox One game discs?

Do you own any other 360 disc games and they work?

I ask this because 360 discs are DVD discs and Xbox games are on Blu-ray. There is a separate laser for reading DVD discs in the console.

troubleshoot disc games. If that is the only disc that doesn't work it could be damaged in some way.
