Disc drive on xbox one makes vibrating noise

Hi, firstly may I suggest you don't move the disc tray around with a disc in the drive and the console on, you could damage the disc that is in the drive and possibly damage the disc drive itself.

Sometimes the hard drive bay cover can vibrate and it's often difficult to tell exactly where the vibrating noise is coming from. If you look on the right hand side of the console near to the rear you will see this removable cover. Could you try removing
that and refitting it again please.

Check around the surface that the Xbox console is placed on. Loose objects nearby might audibly vibrate when the Xbox disc drive is spinning, if that’s what’s causing the noise.

During active installations with discs, the drive would spin at the maximum noisiest speed, which is normal. When a disc is used to actually play a game, it is generally quiet.

my xbox makes a noise when i insert a disc sometimes that sounds like a phone vibrate or something and then the disc won't read but if you take it out and put it in a few times eventually it works

Games not yet installed to the hard drive, and Xbox 360 "Arcade" titles published to disc (Minecraft, The Walking Dead, etc) will constantly require the disc drive to load files. The latter is due to the fact that you cannot install
Arcade discs to the hard drive.

In terms of noise, game discs tend to spin faster than movie DVDs. The drive will constantly spin so disc data is readily accessible at any given moment. Significantly louder noises than usual from the disc drive may indicate age
or wear in the components within.

You can try repositioning the console (vertical or horizontal, while turned off), and see if the different position helps dampen the vibrations causing the loud noises.

Same... For me xbox one is not silent ... When the disc is in the drive the noise level is much more of ps4...,and the fan also make Little squeaking noise
