Disc drive not reading

Yes i am sure, I INSTALLED the game to the HARD DRIVE, But when i go to play the game it still reads it from the disc and not from my HARD DRIVE. The disc drive is reading the GAME DISC normally from the disc drive, But it should be reading it from my hard
drive because i have it installed to my HDD. But it dose not, It still reads it from the disc drive. And i played it for like an hour lastnight and and it read it from the disc the whole time. And not from my HDD.

if it still not reading, you need to send it for repair.

It sounds like something is wrong with the disc drive reading certain games. Some games are encoded differently. Try cleaning the disc drive. It may improve the disc reading.

I'm sorry to see any disc reading issues. Is this happening for specific discs, or types of discs? Is it only happening with DVDs and 360 games, or Blu-rays and Xbox One games?

If it seems to be happening with all discs, I suggest doing a
factory reset with keeping your games & apps. If that doesn't help out, then you will want to do a full factory reset to ensure all the apps are fresh.

Opening or repairing your console by yourself can be seen as system tampering by MS. So don't do it. It will cause a ban.

Also, it's not possible, because every xbox internal part is connected to the systemsoftware by serialnumber.

So changing DVD drive won't work, because your xbox won't recognize the "new" DVD drive due an invalid serialnumber.
