Disc Drive not reading One Disc!

My Xbox 360 is not reading one of my many games, I've tried everything like cleaning etc but I cant get any of them to work. Some of my discs don't even have scratches on them.

I'm sorry to see any disc reading issues. Is this happening for specific discs, or types of discs? Is it only happening with DVDs and 360 games, or Blu-rays and Xbox One games?

If it seems to be happening with all discs, I suggest doing a
factory reset with keeping your games & apps. If that doesn't help out, then you will want to do a full factory reset to ensure all the apps are fresh.

Disc drive not reading

Opening or repairing your console by yourself can be seen as system tampering by MS. So don't do it. It will cause a ban.

Also, it's not possible, because every xbox internal part is connected to the systemsoftware by serialnumber.

So changing DVD drive won't work, because your xbox won't recognize the "new" DVD drive due an invalid serialnumber.

 

Are you getting any error codes when this is happening? Please post more information so we can fully help you.

 

No I'm not getting any error code, it just says open tray.

 

Do you have the same concern with all of your games? If yes, the concern is already with the disc tray and the best resolution is to set up a service request for repair, you can open this link myservice.xbox.com to set up a repair.
