    I'm sure its known, but I'm having disc reading issues. I'll put a disc in and it will not load, and it still says insert disc. Unplugging the console fixed the issue, but I'm a pessimist and assume its only a temporary fix. I might go full digital....

    Update

    I put Destiny in my One today and once again, it sat there. Frustrated, I went to get a beverage. It loaded the game about two minutes later. More to come as it unfolds.

    ClearCorpse, yeah, you are correct in assuming it is a temporary fix. Something with the disc reading is not working sadly, and will eventually need to be sent in for a repair. If I were you, digital games are the way to go, but if you need to set up a repair,
    it is an easy process.

    You can go to myservice.xbox.com, and set up a repair there.

    You can also call 1-800-4-MyXbox and set up a repair with an agent. Its really up to you on what you want to do in the end though good sir

    Well Ive had this issue for a few weeks now. Extremely annoying!! So Im assuming the only way to fix this is to have it sent off to be repaired???

    Disc drive issues

    I had this problem and sent it off for repair. Got it back and worked for a month now happening again. The only way to make it work first time is to make sure all apps are closed and put the disc in with a tiny bit of force instead of letting it just slide
    in.

    To me, that sounds like a mechanical issue. If you are able to swap it out with the retailer then I would do that, otherwise, contact Xbox Support, but it sounds like the machine will have to be replaced.
