    Disc Drive error


    My Xbox One won't read my game discs and the warranty has expired. I can't play games but want to see if there is an alternative to replacing my Xbox that isn't $115

    Disc Drive error

    Hi RegentCloth7436

    If you've verified that your Xbox One cannot play discs by going through the Playing a Disc Troubleshooter, then the
    Xbox One Service Center is your only option for getting your console repaired. If you're going to send your console in make sure you've done the troubleshooter listed above, and
    perhaps even doing a Factory Reset
    to make sure there is nothing software related happening.

    Have you tried installing the games to your HDD? If you can and It still freezes it may be a software error. Does the problem only persist with Skyrim? Have you tried other disc? For disc read errors try this:
