    After pre-ordering the Destiny game in order to gain access to the beta I have encountered the worse possible customer service imaginable.

    After placing my order I got a screen that confirmed my order with a handy little confirmation number. The email on file was incorrect even though I had an updated email already in xbox live and my Microsoft .net account.

    After 12 attempts contacting and speaking with Microsoft, Bungie, and Xbox live support, I still can't get in on the beta. Each rep passed me to the other company. As I begged for second level support and to speak to managers, all I get are delays and transfers.

    At this point I'm waiting on the escalated support person to contact me from Microsoft (not holding my breath). I've missed the first day and have given up hope of actually making it into the beta.

    I just had to put something out there to let people know the customer service I've received has been horrendous. I'm an old guy who's dealt with everything from Court systems, DMV, cell phone companies, etc. and I've never been so underwhelmed by a company's
    support.

    Despite that, I do think the game will be decent if I can ever get it.

    So... Sony have started allowing digital game pre-orders for PS4

    Wish you could pre-order destiny for beta release pass on digital.

    Eventually Kudos to Activision and Bungie

    I planned on getting the Digital Download of Destiny, so couldn't pre order, I had contacted activision in all the possible ways I knew and kept getting the same replies, you have to pre order at a shop to get a beta code, well thats impossible for DD.

    Anyway I eventually found a destiny issue link on the bungie web site (very well hidden) which took me to an activision page, where I expressed my issue again, and low and beyond they have sent me a XO beta code,

    So just wanted to pass on some judo for activision (it doesn't happen often for me, I still think their customer service is shocking) and bungie.
