Disappointing After Sales Services for XBox in India

Hi,

Let me start of this post by right away saying that I regret my decision of having purchased the Xbox One over the PS4, and I wont be putting my money on any future Microsoft devices as Microsoft washes its hands of customers if the device develops problems
outside the warranty period.

My Xbox has been developing some issues in recent times and Microsoft has made me run pillar to post trying to find out a solution for these issues. The issues which were earlier minor problem have now started to escalate with no solution in sight. Microsoft
stores as well refuse to entertain you, and will talk only if you are looking to drop another 30000 and purchase a new device, so what should we do with our old one, their solution "that's your headache".

This is highly disappointing, and while i would have sworn by your software support, hardware support in India is next to negligible. Since i have to drop that kind of money i would gladly close my eyes and goto Sony for their Playstation. Atleast even if
they cant repair my device they replace it in a buyback scheme.

Xbox 360s Disc Drive Problem

It is very disappointing to know that my Xbox 360s which I bought in Dubai, is not covered under warranty in India. Presently I live in India and having problems with my Disc Drive (Console is not reading any Discs), when I contacted Xbox Service Centre,
I was told that though my console is under warranty period, it is not covered under warranty in India. I really doubt that World leaders like Microsoft would put such kind of warranty hitches. I want my full rights as a Microsoft Xbox Customer and my Console
to be covered under warranty in India as I live in India and also I am a registered Xbox customer from India only.

Service Alert

Same thing for me. Unable to download my profile and get online again after playing this morning. Very disappointing. Even more disappointing is Xbox's response. The service alert updates are just repeated and incorrect. No where near the level of customer
service that we should be getting for a paid service.

We understand your frustration as we as well are gamers yet it would be more helpful if you explain the issues with your xbox console so we can try to assist regarding the nature of the issue or offer advice for a possible solution.

So what seems to be the issue? How can we help?

Hi M3tal Daz3,

Thanks for your revert. My XBox has recently started to heat up very often after just 1 hour of gaming and it sometimes shuts down. I also noticed that there was some dust around the vents, so while i cleaned up the vents I was not sure if any dust had seeped
into the device and may be causing these issues. I have had a similar issue with my PC earlier and dust was the reason.

So i tried contacting Microsoft Support if i could get my device checked and serviced if necessary. While the executive was genuinely trying to find a solution even his hands were tied as my XBox is out of warranty and there is no solution that Microsoft
has to offer in my region. He had to ask me to contact my seller, which was Amazon India for help on this issue.

I had an issue with my controller as well earlier where the Left Button had stopped responding at times, it seems to be a contact issue of some sort, and even at that time I received no help from Microsoft. In the end i had to drop Rs.3000 to purchase a
new controller while my previous one is still in perfectly working condition except the LB. While that was OK its not that i just drop Rs.30000 to go out and purchase a new device outright.

Any help on any of the above issues would be great.

If the console you have is not purchased second hand you can file for repairs:

Cant create a service order for my series s console , after sales support for Xbox india is such a hassle

My bf and I have been wanting this game for a long time and was happy to see it on the sale, but then disappointed that it's showing as $29.99 at the purchase screen. I hope they fix it before the sale ends, or at least give an additional day to the sale
for it once it is fixed. We are going to be very disappointed if we are unable to get this game after they advertised it being on sale.
