I sick of all the Microsoft bs, and I am/was pro ms didn't get ps 2 waited for xbox, 360 on release day, and now maybe stupidly xbox one in preparation for the one I got a nokia Lumia 920, a windows tablet, and at first I didn't care about resolution
gate as Ryse is the best looking game I have ever seen on any thing, but we was promised 1080p games at 60 fps that has only happened with forza 5 and to be honest 4 is better coz it still looks great and has more cars and tracks but all ms promises are turning
out to be rubbish, thief 900p , rumour has it watchdogs will be 720p if things don't change ill be getting rid and ill get good pc what do you lot think

the reason it is so hackable is that the MW games have been based on the COD 3 multiplayer engine and as such is not easy to update or stop hacking.

world at war and black ops are better in this regard as the multiplayer engine is different and more up to date.

To be honest, I'm suprised Microsoft doesn't have some level of involvement to ensure games remain unhacked or at least patched for any big scale violations. It's on their platform after all.

 

If you care so much about graphics, then yeah - get a PC

 

"Ryse" is still the best looking thing launched on any platform.

Perhaps you should worry less about what the internet tells you that you should be thinking about your games and more about how your games on the XBox ONE actually look at play.

 

Personally i dont pay any attention to all the stats 720p, 1080p, 30fps, 60fps some people tend to be concerned about, all i know is the games ive played one xbox look an play great. I would have agree with Az regarding ryse, if a launch title looks and
plays that good just think what we will have in the future. That being said if it really does bother you that much maybe a pc is your best option

 

I don't quite get it, you say Ryse is the best game you've ever seen on "anything" and it's not a 1080p game so why would you worry about future games?

And reading the below article, it seems Xbox One will be hitting 1080p more and more in future.

As others have said though, if graphics/resolutions are really your thing, you probably would be better investing your money in a decent gaming PC.

 

Lol, Ryse looks pretty for sure, but it's certainly not the best looking game to launch on any platform... That's just crazy talk!

As for the whole "resolution gate" thing, well, all I can say is I'm glad I've got both new gen consoles.

I think Ryse is only outshone by the new Killzone. Both games are pretty forgetful tho, so graphics schapfics.

I wonder at what point it became common practice for DEVs to release resolution specifics before a games launch? never happened last gen and they were all over the place on both consoles.

On the other hand Ps4 exclusive the order 1723302 is not 1080p either, but if your worried about graphics on multiplatform releases... join the master race, buy a PC - out shine both peasant owning consoles.

The funny thing is I'm getting better graphics on my XBox 360 than the Playstation 4.

My TV upscales to 1280.
