    Funny huh? A family member got an X1 for Christmas with some dance game and kinect. After hooking everything up, I have to run a system update. Understandable, but it won't update off the disc and it needs installing. I have to run a cat5 cable across her
    living room to get Xbox Live. Annoying, but at least it will finally be working and dancing to "Let it Go". Wrong, rather than keeping things simple like with a picture, I have to set up an Avatar through a clunky interface and run an additional patch!

    Gee, its allot like PC gaming but worse, because you're shoehorned into Microsoft's "walled garden" and limited to £40 games that require mandatory day 1 patches.

    Finally it loaded after rebooting the system after several times, but she was so frustrated by the hassle that it wasn't played. And that was before mentioning the mandatory subscription to Live. She wants something that just works, like... my PC.

    Really tired of the complaint threads on here.

    People expect the Xbox One to have all the features the 360 had plus more, but they don't realize this is a NEW CONSOLE, NEW ARCHITECTURE, It will take time for it to have features that took the 360 7+ years to have.

    Launch video game consoles are not for everyone......sounds like you should of waited about a year! I for one wanted this thing a year ago! was getting a little burned out from my 360 and didnt play it half as much this past year.
