    Disappointed with Series X


    After a month long search for a Series X, I just received mine the other day. I was excited to set it up and experience the "next generation" of gaming, especially on what is supposed to be the top of the line model. I'm coming from having an Xbox One S All Digitial as my best Xbox. I have to say though, I'm not really noticing an enormous difference in graphics with this Series X. The only thing I really seem to notice is an increase in framerate and a more constant framerate, maybe a few extra visuals. I'm not seeing enough to make me believe this is truly a new generation of gaming at all. I used external SSDs on my Xbox Ones so even the loading time on the Series X isn't that much different.

    I had originally wanted to buy a Series S but went with the X because it happened to be available, thinking "oh well, at least I'll have the best model". Now I'm even more sure the Series S would have suited me just fine or if even needed to buy one of these supposed next gen consoles. Kinda feel a little scammed out of the money spent but I guess I'll be ready when some amazing new game comes out ‍♂️.

    If you are playing Xbox One games on the Series X, you are not going to see much of a difference except for frame rate. When you get Xbox Series X games, then you will see a lot more difference.

    I really liked it too and was disappointed when it was discontinued. Maybe when they launch the Series X they'll have something similar as an additional feature.

    I really think they (Microsoft) are dropping that OTA TV Guide (Option) due to the fact that the Xbox Series X has no HDMI In. So There will be no OTA TV option so they are phasing us out. Very disappointing!!
    I use the dvb-t usb tuner. Why would that be unsupported on series x?

    Please I would love A backwards compatibility game to be added

    Sorry to disappoint but the Backwards Compatibility team is currently on hold for development of the Xbox Series X. Ultimately the ability of the game to be backwards compatible with Xbox One and series X fall to the publisher or developer. I suggest reaching
    out whatever developer or company that holds the rights to the game so that if the backwards compatibility program resumes, then it can be put into consideration.

    Series X Launch Disappointment

    Same thing happened to me. Got the exact same error message so thanks for saving me some time on hold. Not sure how a tech company like Microsoft can't figure out the inventory system. There is 100% no excuse for an ordering system to show and allocate
    a product to me but not allow me to purchase after it's been assigned.
