Disappointed with multiple purchases and no real recourse

I am an xbox live subscriber and Ilove the xbox store to get digital titles. My recent 2 purchases of Quantum break and Hitman have left me with an overwhelming feeling of dissatisfaction and that the digital purchases gives me no tangible recourse to return
these less than grand titles thatIpaid a full pop coin for only to be less than pleased. I hope these titles and others Isee are not a signof what is to come for my digital entertainment dollar. I feel like this system is flawed for instances that are truely
this bad. Maybe Iam just hoping for too much from a company that wants to be a premier entertainment company.

How is it that a major US company operates a department such as this so called Enforcement Team with zero accountability? My old gamertag was banned for supposedly "impersonating Microsoft staff" which is kind of ridiculous. I advised several players that
we were all being watched periodically (which is true) for cheating & bad conduct and warned them to shape up. Somehow the enforcement jerks interpreted that as impersonation and handed out a permanent ban. I've looked online for a contact number, email
address, anything... and there is absolutely no way to contact these people. They appear to act with impunity even though they got it completely wrong. Thankfully my cousin happens to be a senior staff member at Microsoft on the east coast, so I'm pursuing
that route. Aside from that, does anyone know of any other way to reach these jerks? If my employer had a group that operated in this way, we'd lose clients left and right and these jerks would be out of a job in a matter of days. Smh...

 

I can understand your frustration when it comes to games; the trouble is that, like any art form (music, movies, etc), games are a personal thing (and personally, while I suck at Hitman, I'm loving Quantum Break). Digital content is available at any time,
which gives you the flexibility of not having to stand in queues, shopping for midnight releases, but yes, there is a no-return policy that can affect your satisfaction with your purchases. The thing to remember is that games are so varied, I don't think you
can say a couple of titles define a genre. Xbox One released over 300 games in 2015, of such different genres that there's something for everyone. Keep trying, noid, you'll find something you love.

 

As a true fan of the art form and what i think xbox is trying to do for console gaming, i believe as your reply states. But i do think the digital title should not cost the same as a disk unit, and i hope microsoft will hold its developers to the same level
of professionalisim and morality as us the endusers, ambassidors, and its own employees and product. Maybe i am nieve but i think the xbox crew knows that keeping a evolution of sound product that works in the long range is the real smart money.
