    Disappointed in the New Xbox One Controllers


    Picked up a new Halo 5 Controller which I had to return because I couldn't use my Turtle Beach XO Seven Pro headset with it. The Controller does not have the USB style plug at the bottom of the controller for the stereo adapter it only has the 3.5mm headphone
    jack. There is no way now to easily adjust party/game audio, overall volume or even mute. Not sure why MS decided to make the change but it seems like poor design. Looks like I'll have to stick to Ebay for finding a new controller.

    add one more user that is disappointed by the xBox One controllers. we have 2 and both are doing the same thing. A recall is in order by Microsoft

    Battery packs

    Hi teno1878, the controllers are a completely new design on the Xbox One and your rechargeable pack won't fit on the new controllers. The packs/battery compartment on the Xbox One controllers are flush with the controller and don't pop out. Also shaped horizontally.

    I'm not sure which Halo5 controller you're referring to but looking at controller reviews you can see the port where the stereo adapter fits in

    I am very disappointed with the new Xbox one Controller

    I have three of them for two xbox ones and the thumb sticks suck. All of them have at least one thumb stick that's kinda lose in the socket. I also have 3 ps4 controllers and the sticks are tight.

    I have had mine for 8 months and it cosmetically looks perfect still. Nothing like the pictures. Maybe trim or file your thumb nails so they are not so sharp. only thing i can really suggest.
