Disappointed in Sea of Thieves

It's most definately a game that you're tossed into without a clue of what to do at first. I've been meaning to get more time into the game, but haven't really made the time.

Would love to team up and get a crew together some time.

I agree. Sea of Thieves really wasn't for me though I may give it a shot again sometime in the future (if only because I have an Xbox Game Pass membership). That being said there are plenty out there who the game does appeal to. What games do you enjoy playing
in general? Perhaps Assassin's Creed Black Flag would be more up your alley?

That's disappointing. I haven't played it myself, but I was hoping this could be an exclusive that elevates the console.

The game had so much potential, I believe they shouldn't have released it so quickly, hopefully, the updates will do it good.

Unless PC does it differently than console, all it does is give you the option to choose an "open crew" which is match-making, or you can choose "closed crew". Closed crew just turns off match-making and won't throw randoms into any open slots on your chosen
ship. With a closed crew you can invite friends and/or your friends can join your game any time.

To be honest I was excited for SoT until I found out it was one of those "make your own adventure" kinds of games. While that may be fun for people who have a static group they can play with, for most of us who want to hop on and just have some fun it really
stinks. In my opinion two things would have really improved the game:

1. Automatically grouping you with other players

2. And ongoing story and questions

Maybe Rare will fix things, but I am not expecting it. I can hope tho!

Erm..................you do know it does automatically group you with other people right? You literally have to choose to go solo.

Also there has been two "story" DLC's that have been released that has added lore to the world, the first was when the Megladon got added, and now the Cursed Sails has added quite a bit of lore to the world.

I wasn't aware of that feature at all, in fact I had a friend tell me that you have to find friends to play with it won't auto-group you. Now I feel like I may be really missing out.

I like to think that SoT is a game that is constantly growing. If we send our feedback correctly, the game only tends to improve constantly, with bug fixes and content addition.
