    Disabling Xbox On Screen Keyboard


    On xbox, whenever you go to type something, a large keyboard appears on the screen. This is useful for typing with controllers, but for people who have keyboards connected to their xbox, it is a real hassle. Usually to confirm whatever you are typing, you have to hit enter on your keyboard twice or it won't actually confirm because of the on screen keyboard. I think there should be a way to disable the on screen keyboard from appearing.

    No, currently there is no way to disable the on-screen keyboard for Xbox One.

    I understand you need help disabling the on screen keyboard. Unfortunately, there is no feature on Xbox that will remove the on screen keyboard. You can only minimize this through the accessibilty settings so it will appear smaller than the usual.

    For remote features, you can disable this by downloading the Windows 10 app and go to the app settings to disable the on screen keyboard but that is only through the app.

    Hello Dorian, unfortunately currently there is no way to disable the on-screen keyboard for Xbox One console.

    However in the Windows 10 try to go Xbox App Navigate to Settings, then under the Xbox One tab there is a toggle switch at the bottom to disable the on-screen keyboard.
