Disabling home shortcut (Pressing X & A at the same time) instead of home button?

Today I discovered when you press X & A a the same time it acts as an alternative to pressing the home button. This became annoying when playing Madden since my thumb would accidentally hit both buttons while trying to tackle. The game would then pause and
take me to the dashboard. Is there a way to disable this?

New Xbox dashboard is terrible. (have to hit 3x as many buttons)

You can pull RT once instead of pressing down multiple times. That works on the home screen and in the guide (on the current dashboard). On the upcoming dashboard, that shortcut works on the home screen, but I don't think it works in the guide.

 

Xbox One controllers keeps taking me out of the game

When I play Assassin's Creed Unity, every time I press the YBAX buttons and the joystick at the same time, it suddenly takes me out of the game to a random option at the xbox menu. The most recurrent one is the TV/Cable option. Does anybody knows why this
happens? Is it a shortcut that I'm not aware of? I'm definitely not pressing the xbox home button.

Do you have another controller that you can enlist with your Xbox and test to see if there is an issue with the controller? I tried to duplicate this on my Xbox and could not. I may be wrong about this but I think there may be a controller issue.

If you dont have another controller to attempt to enlist and try I would contact Xbox One support at:
support.xbox.com/.../contact-us to see what options there are.
