Disabled Gamer: Still cant swap the triggers on my Elite controller

Im sure this has been covered many times, and in fact there was supposedly an "update" that solved the problem. i followed the instructions here, http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_support/xbox_one_support/f/4677/t/2063811.aspx and nothing.

I have a disability in my right hand and i play most games on a "southpaw" style with the bumpers/sticks/triggers switched. some games wont let you do this and those games are unplayable for me. The elite was supposed to solve that problem, and it kind of
has, except i still cant swap the triggers.

Hi I have just checked the button mapping for my elite controller and there is the option available to swap sticks and also to swap triggers.

Just got the elite I'm a southpaw. Very happy with the thumbstick swap, thank you very much. However I'm unable to swap the triggers is this a know issue and is there a patch coming. Tried quick config and advanced , the triggers won't trade functionality.
I tried on the xbone and on a windows 10 PC neither worked

 

also i should note, that i spoke to support on chat earlier while taking care of something else and i was told that "that functionality might not be available", WHAT!? and then after searching the forums themselves, the tech gave me the link to the thread
posted in my first post.

 

Same issue here. I have one hand, that's why I bought the controller. According to the person I spoke with last night, they're working on fixing the issue.

In the meantime, I tried sort of a weird workaround that works for me: Assigned the LB to the RT function, and the LT to the RB function. So basically it's like swapping the left and right triggers/bumpers, but the bumper and trigger functions are swapped
as well. It works well enough for now, but this obviously needs to get fixed.

Really sorry about the confusion with this. I had misunderstood that thread and had believed it was in reference to the triggers being mislabeled in the app. There is an option to swap triggers under Sticks, triggers & vibrations. Rather than running through
button mapping this option automatically switches them for you.

Yea, theres not. There is an option to swap sticks, but thats it. Ive checked all of the menus in the app, and there is no option box to check to "swap triggers"

And everyone else, my sincerest apologies for the all the confusion with this (I ended up confusing myself as well). I was just able to confirm that this feature is not available quite yet in the public Xbox Accessories App, but it is coming in a future
release.

I goofed and had tested with a console participating in the Xbox preview without realizing. Really appreciate your patience and keep an eye out for updates on the app. Again, really sorry for the back and forth information.

 

just used the windows 10 app. seems like that solves the issue. havent played with the cotroller yet, but the app shows them as swapped.
