    Disable Xbox Insider tied to another user


    Hi,

    I have a second hand Xbox One X that is connected to Xbox Insider by the original owner. I have no way to contact the original owner to get them to remove the Xbox from their Insider device list. Is there any way for this to be done any other way? The current preview build on my Xbox is causing issues with some apps and I'm unable to do anything about it.

    Volume on my Series X very low, except the power up chime

    The chime is its own speaker inside the system. You should try the system on another sound system to validate whether ti's the hardware or the receiver

    I found that strange… usually the only way to disable or lost a home switch is enabling “home Xbox” on another console.

    Are you using an insider build/beta OS in your console?
