Dirt ShowDown

This may seem a little pedantic but why on earth does it take so long to just mark the VIP pass as free. Like someone else said, there is only 10 days left if this particular promotion. Would save you having to give a job lot of refunds for those who have
paid already.

 

You were "aware of the situation" when it happened with Dirt 3 two months ago and still allowed it to happen again. How stupid was that?

 

I think you shouldn't blame the MS Support for the strange attitude of the publisher Codemasters ! EA for ex. made all VIP passes free for the old games after they found out that these passes are no good for the image ! And for real I will think twice before
I might purchase a game published by Codemasters in the future !

 

I downloaded Dirt Showdown again last night on my Xbox 360. The VIP Pass notification is gone now (so it's like the backwards-compatible version now).

 

MS is to blame for allowing a 2nd Codemasters title to be GwG without dealing with the online pass situation properly after it came up with Dirt 3.

 

Why is a vip pass necessary on a digital download is beyond me.This isnt a used game why isnt it included like xbox one owners ?

 

So this game was supposed to be "Free" right?

I'm confused... I'm met with a paywall in a "Free" game?!?!?

This is false advertising to a T almost. Xbox One owners are allowed to play the game with no paywall because of reasons... You're out of your ever loving mind if you think I'm about to drop $300+ on another piece of crap to play a game that's supposed to
be "Free"...

Glad to know that a 360 game has a far better experience on a console it wasn't made for... This speaks volumes about the customers who don't own your next gimmick machine that will be obsolete in less than 6 years...

Either fix this issue, or give me a refund for this months Gold for the massive and, blatant inconvenience. Do remember that, one of the "Perks" of being a Gold member is getting TWO, or more free games every month... I've yet to get one free one this month...

Simply because it's not... There was no official statement from Xbox/Microsoft that this a working method. I can confirm this works though. I had to re download the game last night anyways.

In no way shape, or form is this a resolution, since I'm sure about 90% of the people who downloaded this doesn't knows about this... IT does however give you the VIP Pass, and the old version of Dirt Showdown was removed. Check your download history and you'll
see.
