    Dirt 3 on demand, performance issues


    Hello, i have recently purchased Dirt 3 from games on demand, and everything seems to be fine until i get into a race, where it keeps skipping or stopping and starting as if it is a slightly scratched disc. But being a digital download, this makes no sense.
    I have freed up hard drive space and let made sure it wasnt my xbox overheating either. I feel quite helpless as i have tried looking for anyone with similar problems online, but no luck whatsoever.

    The first 2 races i had were fine but now its virtually unplayable. I really enjoyed this game and its disappointing for this to occur. Plz any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Best splitscreen games?

    black ops zombies is a good laugh splitscreen, so's DIRT 3 - visually and performance wise its as solid as single player

    Can you put games on demand on an external hard drive?

    Yes, you can put Games On Demand (as well as Arcade Titles) onto external USB hard drives or flash drives. The biggest partition that can be used is 32 GB. I have run several Games On Demand off of USB flash drives and have had no performance issues.

    Try deleting the game then clear the cache and restart the console before heading to your download history to redownload the game.

    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

    To access you download history go to System>Accounts>Download History

    I have done everything you have said and it has improved, however as soon as i start an normal race, it starts juddering or skipping again...as if it has trouble loading everything. This doesnt make sense at all from a digital copy, is it just the game?
